The application serves as a modern tool for the digital presentation of cultural heritage, with a strongly entertaining and educational character. Its main feature is an interactive digital map of the present-day Municipality of Megalopoli, showing important locations directly related to the events of 1821. The map has clearly marked points of interest linked to important sites of 1821. Through these points, users can access information presented in multimedia form (text, images, video, 360° tours). Interaction is by touch, and users can explore themes that include the protagonists, the most important battles and monuments, and also learn more about the weapons and costumes of the Revolution.
